Does the Canon 106 Toner Cartridge ever expire? I seem to recall that it only has a powder inside, that becomes liquid when reheated by the printer? If so, that would not expire. There is no expiration or manufacturing date on my old boxes that the toner came in.

Toner powder does degrade over time. I would not keep a toner more than a year or two. Moisture can get inside and ruin it. Also toner powder does not really becomes liquid. Printer will fuse it into paper when you print.
